What data we process
This website has no forms that store data on our servers: the contact form opens WhatsApp on your device with the message ready and you decide whether to send it. We process the data you voluntarily give us by WhatsApp, phone or email: name, phone number, email address, language, the property or development you are interested in and any information you choose to share about what you are looking for.
What we use it for
- To answer your enquiries and send you the information, plans and prices you request.
- To arrange viewings in person or by video call.
- To manage the pre-contractual relationship and, where applicable, the reservation or purchase of a home.
- If you give your consent, to inform you about new developments and news from La Hoya. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent when you contact us (Article 6.1.a of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and on taking pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as the relationship continues or until you request its deletion, and afterwards for the periods required to meet legal obligations. Data used for marketing communications is kept until you withdraw your consent.
Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law or where necessary to handle your request and you authorise it (for example, with the developer of a home you wish to view or reserve). We use providers that process data on our behalf with GDPR safeguards: our property management software (Inmovilla), WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) and website hosting (Vercel). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@lahoyatorrevieja.com or to our registered office stating the right you wish to exercise. If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Security and minors
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. This website is not aimed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly process their data.
Cookie policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that some websites store in your browser to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, are treated the same way under the law.
Cookies used on this website
This website does not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies, whether its own or third-party. It only stores one technical preference in your browser's local storage:
- lahoya_lang: remembers the language you have chosen. It is necessary for the service you request, does not identify you and is exempt from consent (Article 22.2 LSSI-CE). It remains until you delete it from your browser.
That is why we do not show a cookie banner: there are no cookies that require your consent.
Third-party services
The map is loaded from OpenStreetMap's servers: to display it, your browser requests the map images from them and shares your IP address, without installing cookies. Links to WhatsApp and YouTube open those services, which apply their own privacy and cookie policies.
How to manage them
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge or others). If you do, the website will still work but will not remember your language.
