14th-century watchtower next to La Mata beach.
La Mata Tower is an old coastal watchtower by the sea, one of the oldest remains in the area. From here the coast was watched for pirate attacks.
Today it is a viewpoint next to La Mata promenade, with the beach and the Molino del Agua pine wood alongside.
