Natural Park Visitor Centre
Starting point for the trails of the Lagunas de La Mata y Torrevieja Natural Park.
The visitor centre is the gateway to the Lagunas de La Mata y Torrevieja Natural Park, a protected area of some 3,700 hectares declared in 1996. Here you can learn about the flora, fauna and salt-making history of the lagoons.
Signposted trails lead from the centre to La Mata Lagoon, with viewpoints and bird hides. It is a perfect outing for families and nature lovers.
