Torrevieja Salt Works

Torrevieja's salt works have been producing salt for centuries and are part of the city's identity: their white mountains next to the pink lagoon are one of the best-known images of the Costa Blanca. In 2019 they were the starting point of a stage of La Vuelta cycling race.

The salt-making history can be explored at the Museum of the Sea and Salt, and the salt works can be seen from the viewpoints and paths around the lagoon.
