The patron saint festivities in honour of the Purísima Concepción fill Torrevieja with events between November and 8 December: the switching-on of the lights, parades, concerts, the mascletà and the procession.
One of the most popular events is the paella contest at Antonio Soria Park, with hundreds of plots where clubs, families and friends cook outdoors. The 2025 edition was the 33rd.
