The central food market, being turned into a gastronomic market.
La Plasa is the historic food market in the centre of Torrevieja. The Town Hall is transforming it into a modern market that will combine traditional fresh-produce stalls with a food hall.
The concession for the new gastronomic market was awarded in 2026. Once open, it will be one of the new meeting points in the centre.
